मातु लक्ष्मी करि कृपा, करो हृदय में वास।
मनोकामना सिद्घ करि, परुवहु मेरी आस॥

यही मोर अरदास, हाथ जोड़ विनती करुं।
सब विधि करौ सुवास, जय जननि जगदंबिका॥

सिन्धु सुता मैं सुमिरौ तोही।
ज्ञान बुद्घि विघा दो मोही ॥
तुम समान नहिं कोई उपकारी। सब विधि पुरवहु आस हमारी॥
जय जय जगत जननि जगदम्बा। सबकी तुम ही हो अवलम्बा॥1॥
तुम ही हो सब घट घट वासी। विनती यही हमारी खासी॥
जगजननी जय सिन्धु कुमारी। दीनन की तुम हो हितकारी॥2॥
विनवौं नित्य तुमहिं महारानी। कृपा करौ जग जननि भवानी॥
केहि विधि स्तुति करौं तिहारी। सुधि लीजै अपराध बिसारी॥3॥
कृपा दृष्टि चितववो मम ओरी। जगजननी विनती सुन मोरी॥
ज्ञान बुद्घि जय सुख की दाता। संकट हरो हमारी माता॥4॥
क्षीरसिन्धु जब विष्णु मथायो। चौदह रत्न सिन्धु में पायो॥
चौदह रत्न में तुम सुखरासी। सेवा कियो प्रभु बनि दासी॥5॥
जब जब जन्म जहां प्रभु लीन्हा। रुप बदल तहं सेवा कीन्हा॥
स्वयं विष्णु जब नर तनु धारा। लीन्हेउ अवधपुरी अवतारा॥6॥
तब तुम प्रगट जनकपुर माहीं। सेवा कियो हृदय पुलकाहीं॥
अपनाया तोहि अन्तर्यामी। विश्व विदित त्रिभुवन की स्वामी॥7॥
तुम सम प्रबल शक्ति नहीं आनी। कहं लौ महिमा कहौं बखानी॥
मन क्रम वचन करै सेवकाई। मन इच्छित वांछित फल पाई॥8॥
तजि छल कपट और चतुराई। पूजहिं विविध भांति मनलाई॥
और हाल मैं कहौं बुझाई। जो यह पाठ करै मन लाई॥9॥
ताको कोई कष्ट नोई। मन इच्छित पावै फल सोई॥
त्राहि त्राहि जय दुःख निवारिणि। त्रिविध ताप भव बंधन हारिणी॥10॥
जो चालीसा पढ़ै पढ़ावै। ध्यान लगाकर सुनै सुनावै॥
ताकौ कोई न रोग सतावै। पुत्र आदि धन सम्पत्ति पावै॥11॥
पुत्रहीन अरु संपति हीना। अन्ध बधिर कोढ़ी अति दीना॥
विप्र बोलाय कै पाठ करावै। शंका दिल में कभी न लावै॥12॥
पाठ करावै दिन चालीसा। ता पर कृपा करैं गौरीसा॥
सुख सम्पत्ति बहुत सी पावै। कमी नहीं काहू की आवै॥13॥
बारह मास करै जो पूजा। तेहि सम धन्य और नहिं दूजा॥
प्रतिदिन पाठ करै मन माही। उन सम कोइ जग में कहुं नाहीं॥14॥
बहुविधि क्या मैं करौं बड़ाई। लेय परीक्षा ध्यान लगाई॥
करि विश्वास करै व्रत नेमा। होय सिद्घ उपजै उर प्रेमा॥15॥
जय जय जय लक्ष्मी भवानी। सब में व्यापित हो गुण खानी॥
तुम्हरो तेज प्रबल जग माहीं। तुम सम कोउ दयालु कहुं नाहिं॥16॥
मोहि अनाथ की सुधि अब लीजै। संकट काटि भक्ति मोहि दीजै॥
भूल चूक करि क्षमा हमारी। दर्शन दजै दशा निहारी॥17॥
बिन दर्शन व्याकुल अधिकारी। तुमहि अछत दुःख सहते भारी॥
नहिं मोहिं ज्ञान बुद्घि है तन में। सब जानत हो अपने मन में॥18॥
रुप चतुर्भुज करके धारण। कष्ट मोर अब करहु निवारण॥
केहि प्रकार मैं करौं बड़ाई। ज्ञान बुद्घि मोहि नहिं अधिकाई॥19॥

त्राहि त्राहि दुख हारिणी, हरो वेगि सब त्रास।
जयति जयति जय लक्ष्मी, करो शत्रु को नाश॥
सुजीतदास धरि ध्यान नित, विनय करत कर जोर।
मातु लक्ष्मी दास पर, करहु दया की कोर॥
इस मंत्र के द्वारा माता लक्ष्मी का हाथ जोड़कर श्रद्धापूर्वक आवाहन करें ।
सर्वलोकस्य जननीं सर्वसौख्यप्रदायिनीम ।
सर्वदेवमयीमीशां देवीमावाहयाम्यहम् ।।
ॐ तां म आवह जातवेदो लक्ष्मीमनपगामिनीम् ।
यस्यां हिरण्यं विन्देयं गामश्वं पुरुषानहम् ।।
माँ लक्ष्मी की पूजा के दौरान इस मंत्र के द्वारा माता को दुर्वा चढ़ावें ।
क्षीरसागरसम्भते दूर्वां स्वीकुरू सर्वदा ।
ॐ महालक्ष्म्यै नमः दूर्वां समर्पयामि ।।
इस मंत्र के द्वारा सफेद चावल माँ लक्ष्मी को चढ़ावें ।
अक्षताश्च सुरश्रेष्ठ कुंकुमाक्ताः सुशोभिताः ।
मया निवेदिता भक्त्या गृहाण परमेश्वरि ।।
ॐ महालक्ष्म्यै नमः, अक्षतान समर्पयामि ।।
इस मंत्र के द्वारा मां लक्ष्मी को कमल या गुलाब के फूलों की माला चढ़ावें ।
माल्यादीनि सुगन्धीनि मालत्यादीनि वै प्रभो ।
ॐ मनसः काममाकूतिं वाचः सत्यमशीमहि ।।
ॐ महालक्ष्म्यै नमः, पुष्पमालां समर्पयामि ।।
इस मंत्र के द्वारा मां लक्ष्मी को कुछ आभूषण चढ़ावें ।
त्नकंकणवैदूर्यमुक्ताहाअरादिकानि च ।
सुप्रसन्नेन मनसा दत्तानि स्वीकुरूष्व भोः ।।
ॐ क्षुत्पिपासामलां ज्येष्ठामलक्ष्मीं नाशयाम्यहम् ।
अभूतिमसमृद्धि च सर्वां निर्णुद मे गृहात् ।।
ॐ महालक्ष्म्यै नमः, आभूषण समर्पयामि ।।
इस मंत्र के द्वारा माता लक्ष्मी को लाल व गुलाबी वस्त्र चढ़ावें ।
दिव्याम्बरं नूतनं हि क्षौमं त्वतिमनोहरम् ।
दीयमानं मया देवि गृहाण जगदम्बिके ।।
ॐ उपैतु मां देवसुखः कीर्तिश्च मणिना सह ।
प्रादुर्भूतोस्मि राष्ट्रेस्मिन कीर्तिमृद्धि ददातु मे ।।

मन्दाकिन्याः समानीतैर्हेमाम्भोरूहवासितैः ।
स्नानं कुरूष्व देवेशि सलिलैश्च सुगन्धिभिः ।।

तप्तकाश्चनवर्णाभं मुक्तामणिविराजितम् ।
अमलं कमलं दिव्यमासनं प्रतिगृह्यताम् ।।
ॐ अश्वपूर्वां रथमध्यां हस्तिनादप्रमोदिनीम् ।
श्रियं देवीमुपह्वये श्रीर्मा देवी जुषताम् ।।
लाल चंदन एवं लाल चंदन की माला इस को बोलते हुए चढ़ावें ।
रक्तचन्दनसम्मिश्रं पारिजातसमुद्भवम् ।
मया दत्तं महालक्ष्मि चन्दनं प्रतिगृह्यताम् ।।

Chaupai (Quatrain):
I remember you, O daughter of the ocean. Grant me wisdom and knowledge. No one is as helpful as you are. Fulfill all my hopes.
Hail to the World Mother, Jagadamba. You are the support of all. You reside in every being. This is my special plea.
Mother of the World, hail to you, O virgin of the ocean. You are the benefactor of the poor and helpless.
I beseech you, O Queen, always. Bestow your grace upon us, O Mother of the World.
How should I praise you? Forgive my mistakes and listen to my plea.
Grant me your divine vision, O Mother of the World. Endow me with knowledge and bliss. Remove our difficulties, O Mother.
When Vishnu churned the ocean, he found fourteen jewels. Among them, you are the source of all prosperity. I serve you as a humble servant.
Whenever the Lord took birth on Earth, you served him in various forms. When Vishnu appeared as a man, you descended in Ayodhya.
You manifested in Janakpur and served with a devoted heart. You are the inner soul of all beings, known throughout the three worlds.
No power is as great as yours. How can I describe your glory? Those who serve you with mind, speech, and actions will receive their desired results.
Abandon deceit and cleverness. Worship in various ways, with a sincere heart. And understand this: those who read this prayer with devotion will be relieved of suffering and will receive children, wealth, and prosperity.
For those without children or wealth or those who are blind, deaf, or suffering from leprosy, let a Brahmin perform this recitation. Never harbour doubts in your heart.
Those who conduct this recitation daily will receive the grace of Gauri and enjoy immense happiness and wealth. Nothing will be lacking.
One who worships you for twelve months is truly blessed and unmatched in the world. Those who recite this prayer daily with a sincere heart are incomparable.
How can I describe your greatness? With devotion and faith, one attains the divine reward.
Hail, Hail, Hail, O Goddess Lakshmi. You pervade all, and your virtues are boundless. There is no one as compassionate as you.
Take care of me, an orphan. Remove my troubles and grant me devotion. Forgive my mistakes and accept my offerings.
Without your vision, I am troubled. You alone understand the suffering of the unworthy. I lack knowledge and wisdom. You know everything in my heart.
In the form of a four-armed Vishnu, remove my difficulties. How can I praise you? My knowledge and wisdom are limited.

Rescue me from suffering quickly. Hail, Hail, Hail, Goddess Lakshmi, destroy all enemies.
With the name Sujeetdas, I constantly meditate and offer my prayers. O Mother Lakshmi, be compassionate towards your devotee.
