Determine the Muhurat: Consult an astrologer or use a Panchang to find the most auspicious time (muhurat) for the sthapana. Always try to establish during an Abhijit Mahuratha on any day all days are auspicious except Saturday.

2. Prepare the Place

Clean the Space: Thoroughly clean the area where the Shree Yantra will be established. The place should be free from dust, clutter, and any negative energy.
Set Up the Altar: Arrange a clean and elevated platform or altar where the Shree Yantra will be placed. Cover it with a clean, preferably red or yellow, cloth.

3. Purification of the Shree Yantra

Abhishekam (Ritual Cleansing): Perform the abhishekam of the Shree Yantra using the following items:
- Ganga Jal (Holy Water): To purify and sanctify the yantra.
- Milk: To invoke prosperity and abundance.
- Honey: Symbolising sweetness and harmony in life.
- Curd: To ensure health and well-being.
- Panchamrit: A mixture of milk, honey, sugar, ghee, and curd, representing the divine nectar.
- Rose & Jal Abhishekam: Like rudrabhishek, as per Sree Vidiya one should do abhiseka with rose water and rose petals mixed with a minimum of 21 lota jala abhishekam or 51 lota jal abhishekam
Wipe and Dry: After the abhishekam, gently wipe the Shree Yantra with a clean, soft cloth and allow it to air dry.
Rose and Kamla Abhishekam: Chanting mantra “ Shreem” or “Om Mahalxmiyaye Namha” offer 151 unbroken red natural scented roses (desi gulab” and a minimum of 1, 5 or 11 Kamal Flowers (Lotus flowers). In case you do not get Lotus Flowers use 151 Lotus seeds “ Kamla Gatta / kamal Ke Beej” and after pooja keep them in a clean orange or read potali in Pooja Griha “Mata Laxmi ki Dhan Potali”.
