The Ek Mukhi Sawar (1/One Mukhi Sawar) Nepali Rudraksha can be used in various forms, such as a part of custom Rudraksha combinations, a single bead, or as a component in a Siddha/Indra mala. To achieve the best results, this Rudraksha must be energized properly. It is commonly worn on a Rudraksha chain made of 5 Mukhi Rudraksha beads. The Savar Rudraksha, a rare and revered bead, derives its name from the Sanskrit word “Savar,” which means one letter or one-faced. Unlike other Rudraksha beads that have multiple faces, the Savar Rudraksha has a single natural cleft or line, giving it a single-faced appearance. It is a twin bead, where one Mukhi Rudraksha is naturally attached to another bead of any Mukhi.
Wearing the Savar Rudraksha is believed to carry immense spiritual significance, offering numerous benefits. This bead is associated with Lord Shiva and is thought to enhance spiritual growth, meditation, and a connection with the divine. Due to its unique characteristics, the Savar Rudraksha holds a special place among Rudraksha enthusiasts and spiritual seekers.
The One (1/Ek) Mukhi Nepali Rudraksha is considered one of the most powerful and rarest forms of Rudraksha, symbolizing Param Brahma and being regarded as an incarnation of Lord Shiva. This rare and powerful bead is seen as the most auspicious of all Rudrakshas. The term “Mukhi” refers to the number of faces a Rudraksha bead has, with each face associated with a particular deity or energy. The One Mukhi Rudraksha is linked to Lord Shiva, representing his pure and divine consciousness. It is often worn for spiritual growth, meditation, and enhancing one’s connection with the divine, bringing clarity of mind, and inner peace, and awakening higher consciousness by activating the 3rd eye or Agya Chakra.
Due to its rarity and spiritual significance, the One (1/Ek) Mukhi Nepali Rudraksha is highly valued and sought after by spiritual practitioners and those interested in the metaphysical properties of Rudraksha beads. The most powerful and rarest form of this Rudraksha is the Nepali Round One Mukhi Rudraksha. Contrary to online misinformation, the round One Mukhi Rudraksha is not a myth and is available for purchase, although it naturally occurs only once every 5-10 years or more. This rarity makes the round One Mukhi Rudraksha extremely expensive and almost impossible to obtain without divine intervention.
Types of Ek Mukhi Rudraksha of Nepal Origin:
- Pure Round One Mukhi Nepali Rudraksha: Extremely rare, it should have only one chamber and one seed, formed over 3-5 years or more on an older tree aged 10-15 years and above. This Rudraksha is highly bid for, often going to a “sanyasi spiritual leader” or a “high-famed personality” with duality in nature. Its price can range from 1.5 to 2.5 crores or higher based on size and quality.
- Nepali Anamukhi Underdeveloped One Mukhi (Nirankarmukhi): Found in Nepal in very small quantities, this bead can have more than one chamber with 2-5 seeds inside. Though it does not possess the full energy of a Pure Round One Mukhi Rudraksha, it still works at 40-50% capacity and costs about 1/10th of the original.
- Ek Mukhi Sawar (1/One Mukhi Sawar) Nepali Rudraksha: This naturally formed twin Rudraksha is found on fully grown five, six, seven, or eight Mukhi Rudraksha beads. It is considered highly auspicious, with the price varying based on the number of lines.
- Nirakarmukhi One Mukhi Nepali Rudraksha: Another variety of underdeveloped Nepali Rudraksha with no lines, also known as a “Guru or Muni Nepali Rudraksha.” It is very rare and powerful, costing about 25% more than the Nepali Anamukhi underdeveloped One Mukhi Rudraksha.
- Crescent Moon-Shaped Nepali Ek Mukhi Rudraksha: This very fragile, sharp-edged, moon-shaped Rudraksha is extremely rare and highly valued. Although more common than the Pure Round One Mukhi Nepali Rudraksha, it is still sought after globally.
Note: At Rudraalaya, we only offer the above-mentioned Nepali One Mukhi in Siddhamala, avoiding the use of Bhadraksha (Indian Moon-Shaped Rudraksha), which is sold by other sellers as it is considered to impure a Siddhamala.
Clarification on Indian Moon-Shaped Rudraksha (Bhadraksha): Indian-origin Rudrakshas do not have a natural hole like Nepali Rudrakshas and have lower specific gravity. They are grown from groundwater rather than the rich waters and minerals of the Himalayas, leading to lower energy levels. The Indian moon-shaped Rudraksha, known as Bhadraksha, is cheaper and often mislabeled as an “Indian Ek Mukhi Rudraksha.” However, it is not recommended for everyone and can be harmful without proper astrological guidance. At Rudraalaya, we only sell Nepali-origin Rudraksha beads.
The Nepali Rudraksha bead is believed to enhance mental clarity, concentration, and focus, improving memory, intelligence, and decision-making abilities. Wearing Rudraksha beads is said to shield the body from negative and evil forces. However, a Jaap Mala should never be worn around the neck, and a mala worn on the neck should never be used for Jaap (Mantra Chanting).
Rudraksha beads have been used in spiritual practices for thousands of years and are believed to have powerful spiritual and healing properties. The number of Mukhis on a Rudraksha bead can vary, with beads having anywhere from Zero (Nirankar Mukhi) to twenty-one Mukhis. Each type of Rudraksha bead is associated with different spiritual and healing properties. The formation of Rudraksha is a slow, natural process that takes several years.
The bead should be purified using a specific mantra chanted 125,000 times by a qualified Brahmin or by oneself after being made into gold, either singly or in a specific Siddhamala. It is recommended to purchase Rudraksha beads from a trusted source where they have already been purified. This sanctification process is crucial to ensure that the Rudraksha delivers its maximum potential benefits. Verification, pre-booking, and certification of all Rudrakshas, especially those ranging from 14 to 21 Mukhi, are offered by Rudraalaya through IGLI.
Do you know a few facts about Original natural Nepali origin Rudrakshas :
According to a leading radiological research and analysis done at Banaras Hindu University of Varanasi in India, it is found that a Natural Nepali Rudraksha has a composition mix of copper, iron, manganese, barium, iron, gold and silver elements in different-different compositions in each Nepali Rudraksha. Each Nepali Origin Rudraksha has physiochemical properties, composition of minerals and moisture, oil and a specific gravity of 1.6481 and any Nepali Rudraksha having a gravity greater than 1 will sink in water else can float in water also.
Nepali Orginal Rudraksha is the only seed in the world which has seeds inside its hollow chambers which have seeds in its womb having “spandan” or vibration. This vibration is due to electromagnetic, paramagnetic and inductive properties which are very-very high in natural Nepali Rudraksha varying in different Mukhi’s which upon wearing and meditating purifies your blood and opens your heart chakra and agya (or ajna) chakra is also known as the third eye chakra.
It sends electrical impulses to the agya chakra making you aware and intuitive to take positive decisions and helping you transform your mental ability to think faster. In Hindu tradition, it is the sixth primary chakra in the body and is located in the centre of the forehead, between the eyebrows and meditating on this with Guru Mantra you can activate your Crown Chakra called Sahasrara. (*Made of thousand Petals Crown Chakra is called Sahasrara).
Wearing a Rudraksha can change your personality inside out with clearer thoughts, a calm personality, a smiling face and an aura on your face, forehead temple and skin which radiates the energies of your activated chakra which others can sense by feeling good about you and that you automatic start healing others when you are around them.
Others start showing a positive way of speaking and looking at you. You may get this to hear often “You have changed or You sound different”. This is the power of Original Nepali Rudraksha, you have to wear it and meditate on its energy to feel the changes taking you to an alpha state of mind, activating the endocrine gland, regulating blood circulation, controlling high BP, reducing your breath count which helps you live longer removing depression or hypertension.
You feel the energy of neurons, which makes you calmer (neurons are the key players in the brain). That is the reason why in Hindu or Tebetian Buddhist Religion we are asked to chant mantras on a Rudraksha bead as by pressing a bead from 3 fingers in a way that presses an acupressure point in your thumb which starts opening your pineal gland, also known as the epiphysis cerebri or pineal body (in our language agya (or ajna) chakra), is a small, cone-shaped gland in the brain that produces melatonin, a hormone that regulates circadian rhythms and seasonal physiology.
It’s located in the midline of the brain, between the thalamic bodies, and behind the habenular commissure. The pineal gland is part of the endocrine system and is bathed in cerebrospinal fluid its main function is to produce melatonin in a cyclical pattern at night, which helps regulate sleep patterns and the body’s internal clock. Melatonin levels change throughout the day and year, and the gland’s rhythm is controlled by clock genes in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN), which is synchronized to the light-dark cycle. Melatonin also affects the reproductive system and may help protect cells from damage. The main function of the pineal gland (in our language agya (or ajna) chakra), is to receive and convey information about the current light-dark cycle from the environment via the production and secretion of melatonin cyclically at night (dark period).
The ajna chakra or pineal gland is also connected to the pituitary and hypothalamus glands, as well as the eyes, ears, and nose hence upon wearing rudraksha increases your sensitivity or sixth sense. Some believe that the ajna chakra stimulates energies to provide clarity and move to a higher plane of perception or intuition which is called sixth sense.

About Rudraalaya (previously known as Nepal Rudraksha) has been serving the blessing of Rudraksha since Sujeet Singh (our founder), father started this journey of worshipping Lord Shiva from Mahakaleshwar, Ujjain Since, 1969 and beyond. Our Founder “Shri Sujeet Singh’s” Grandfather “Late Shri Bans Lochan Laxminarayan Singh Ji” was a doctor (Vaidya) in Varanasi, he used to offer free Rudraksha to High BP and Heart Patients as suggested by his Village Vedacharya and Guru Ji. This introduced the Rudraksha to his father “Late Samar Bahadur Bans Lochan Singh Ji” who followed the steps of his family educating others and his son on Rudraksha. Shri Sujeet Samar Bahadur Singh Ji and his whole clan and forefathers were spiritual seekers and blessed by Lord Shiva “Shree Kashi Vishwanath” Ji. This tradition has continued till date and will continue with the descendants of this family.
